Swiss Fried Chicken: Yardbird Weststrasse in Wiedikon opened its doors in 2017 and is a 60-seater restaurant with a terrace during the summertime. We serve buttermilk Swiss fried chicken, a gluten-free recipe with multiple styles and flavours available. Our Vegetarian option is with tempura fried seasonal veggies or with Planted.Chicken
Hi-Fi Vinyl Listening: Music is a huge part of our concept and we have recently built in a complete High-Fidelity sound system, which are late 70s Pioneer speakers from Japan, refurbished and serving an incredible sound. Our Friends from HUM Records in Wiedikon have partnered with us on this project, helping us to curate the entire vinyl library we have at Weststrasse. 3-4 nights a week, you will find a DJ playing live music behind the booth, so we are a space to visit if you’re wanting to discover great new sound, coming from an array of genres including soul, funk, jazz, afro, disco & hip hop.
Wines by the Glass: Our journey into wines started many years ago as a personal step. We’ve spent years visiting vineyards, developing our wine knowledge and now have integrated wines as part of our core concept. Our partners from The Bottle Shop in Wiedikon are supplying us with an ever-changing wine selection: we’ve got 5-6 bottles open at any time for our guests to explore, and we change up this rotation every month. Come by the restaurant and enjoy a glass at the bar!

Our chicken is 100% locally sourced in Switzerland.
We brine it for 24h in a salt bath and double-fry it with a crispy buttermilk crust. All chicken options can be ordered as wings or half a chicken.
